About Me

My name is April. I'm a hard working mom living in the midwest. I grew up on the west coast in Los Angeles, California so midwest life has been a shocker for the most part. I'd never go back to the madness of smog covered L.A. Not when I can own an acre of land for less than you'd pay for a bungalow out there! I like my elbow space.

My Family

We're the MK family because all of us have a middle name that starts with "M". There's three of us, but five if you count the animals whom we consider family.

My Pets

We have a dog and a cat. Jake and Amber hold up the fort when we're at work. Jake runs security and Amber, well she never runs, in fact she rarely walks and for the most part, all she does is sleep. That's a cat for you.
